Dip-Azimuth / Dip-Magnitude

Dip-Azimuth / Dip-Magnitude attributes may be generated relative to today's structural setting, or relative to paleo-stratigraphy.  In the example shown, paleo-stratigraphic dip-azimuth picks up inclined beds within the formation helping the interpretation of the point bar sequence.

The image is an RGB construct with Red corresponding to azimuth 270, Green to azimuth 300 and blue to azimuth 330.
