James Alison

James has over 25 years international exploration and production experience in Western Canada, West Africa, Egypt and Russia. This experience includes extensive processing, interpretation and support of seismic processing technology. Prior to founding OpenGeoSolutions he held various technology and management roles at Amoco and BP.

James is a P.Geophysicist (APEGGA), a member of the CSEG (Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists) and a member of the SEG (Society of Exploration Geophysicists.)

James founded OpenGeoSolutions in 2001.
